We’re looking for an insanely great AI engineer who will play a critical role in defining the answer to the question of “how will computers look in 10 years time?”. You will be utilizing generative models to build world-shifting consumer products. You have both the skills to iterate quickly, and the conviction to help shape what Beem looks like.

You'll need to...

• Have built a technical, interesting project from scratch. Personal projects are always preferred, we love to hear the reasons behind “why?”
• Worked in a high-paced, high-growth environment before (ideally a startup), and can make decisions and drive changes with little to no oversight.
• Be opinionated, and have the confidence to voice contrarian ideas when backed by sound reasoning. Unafraid to challenge the group consensus.
• Have strong confidence in data-retrieval for LLM-based applications.
• Be familiar with persona configuration, output formatting and style preferences in LLMs.
• Have familiarity with recommender systems, and other classical ML concepts.
• Have experience with evaluating and understanding user intent with LLMs.
• Have a strong interest in the intersection of technology and humanity.
• A deep resonance and understanding of our vision.
• Can create and iterate at the speed of thought.

You'll be great if:

• You’ve got a good design sense.
• You’ve worked at or built a consumer company before.

We’re looking for someone who cares deeply about product design and human computer interaction. You will play a critical role in answering the question of “how will computers look in 10 years time?”. You're comfortable owning client-side codebases, but unafraid to step into server-side work if needed or curious. This is an engineering role first and foremost, but with plenty of room to make active design and product decisions.

• Can create and iterate at the speed of thought.

You'll be great if:

• You've got experience working with LLMs, and understand how to use them to build great products.
• You’ve worked at or built a consumer company before.
